(1)口試當日如臺北市宣布停班停課，則學位論文口試得採「同步視訊」方式舉行，並應全程錄音錄影存檔，送交所屬教學單位存查(保存10年)，事後須補簽文經系所主管核備並後會教務單位。

(1) If work and classes are suspended in Taipei City on the scheduled date of the oral defense:

The graduate degree examination may be conducted via synchronous videoconferencing. The entire examination process must be audio- and video-recorded, and the recordings must be submitted to the respective department or graduate institute for archiving. The recordings shall be retained for 10 years. After the examination, a retrospective approval form must be completed, signed by the department chair or institute director, and submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs for final approval.

(2)口試當日如臺北市維持正常上班上課，但部分口試委員所在地或會經過已宣布停班停課之縣市，則該委員得採視訊方式參與口試，其餘不受影響之委員仍採實體方式辦理學位考試。

(2) If work and classes remain in operation in Taipei City, but one or more committee members are affected by a typhoon:

If a committee member is located in, or must travel through, a city or county where work and classes have been suspended, that committee member may participate in the oral defense via synchronous videoconferencing. All other committee members who are not affected must attend the examination in person at the designated venue.
