Application of early graduation for undergraduate students with excellent academic performance in the first semester of Academic Year 111. Follow the instructions below:

1. Applicant(s)
Students of the University’s B.S. Program, Five-Year Program and Learning First Program of the Office of Continuing Education who satisfy the following requirements are qualified for early graduation: 
(1) Completed all courses and credits required by the divisions, departments, groups and programs, and the graduation requirements set forth by the University, within one semester or one academic year prior to the end of the year of study. 
(2) Attained a score of 80 points or more in ethics education in all semesters. 
(3) Satisfied one of the following requirements in academic performance: 
A. Attained average academic scores during the study in the University of over 80 points and final ranking within the top 15% of the academic department (section) or of the student’s class (unless the final ranking of the first place is above the said 15%, in which case a special approval is required). 
B. For students of the University’s bachelor Programs and Learning First Program, and those who have been admitted to the University’s master program through the entrance examination and thereafter have completed registration and received the advisor’s approval in writing: received average academic scores above 75 points and final ranking within the top 30% of the academic department or of the student’s class. 
C. International students including foreign students, overseas Chinese students, students from Hong Kong and Macao who must return to their home countries early due to force majeure or any special causes not attributed to the concerned students may apply for special approval, provided that they present related documentary evidence and that they attained average academic scores above 75 points.

2. Application and processing time
Any student applying for early graduation shall complete the application form by the end of the current semester, and then submit the same to chair of the academic department (section) or director of the student’s class for the verification stamp. The application form, together with all transcripts, shall be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for preliminary review between Dec. 19, 2022 (Mon) to Dec. 30, 2022 (Fri). The Academic Affairs Office shall conduct a final review after all scores are published at the end of the semester. After confirmation in the final review, academic degrees shall be conferred and diplomas awarded upon the University President’s authorization of the roster of academic degrees for the current semester.
